Be interested if anyone knows of any good ones - especially find-able on the internet. And is the 'World At War', still the mother of all WW2 documentaries? http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=desert+WW2&search=Search This is Laurence Olivier at the start of 'The Desert': cue camera panning over hard ground, and burnt out tanks....: ''This land was made for war. No green and virginal countryside for war to violate. This land is hard, inviolable..........'' Bang! der de der der der der der, de de derrrr, da derrrrrrr...... Bang!....' Absolutlely fantastic! Actually brings up a long lost memory of my mum saying (about me) ''he's a bit too young to watch this, isn't he?'', and my dad (who was in the war) saying ''He should know.'' And me mum saying nothing.... Blimey.
