One more question I hope youll entertain.
I am interested in getting into 28mm WW2 skirmish. I would like to have a game that allows 10-50 figs a side and a couple of vehicles. Rules of engagment, and Nuts have been mentioned but I cant find alot of detail on how they play. Does anyone have a recommendation and if you could explain why you like the rules?
Thanks
David |

David, at the risk of me committing wargames heresy, I would suggest the Necromunda rules by GW. I use these for skirmishes in many eras, including WWII, and with some work they play very well. For vehicles and tanks I use the vehicle section from Warhammer 40K, so now I am truly damned. But I have made a few converts to these rules because they are fun, fast and playable. If you would like to talk in more detail pm me here.

| Yes, I've watched a Warhammer 40k WW2 game and it looked pretty good, Grumps. Did you get to Dave's Wellington Barracks game? |

Hello viking and welcome on here.
The cards look good - did you write the rules? |

No but I'm in contact with many guys who participated during the test.
I very much like their work and am happy to advertise them :-) |

| Fair enough. If you've got any photos of games using them, feel free to put them up! |

Hi, thank you very much.
1-48Combat it's a complete game, but obviously you can use their rules and their miniaturese (or bases) as you whant :-)
You can see lot of picture in their website:

And I know they're preparing lot of new things for the next year.
Cheers!

| Axis and Allies have a similar skirmish game but the miniatures are smallish. 1-48 looks like a good system. So they're fairly tall figures then: 36mm, probably a good idea for skirmish. |
