Thanks for the compliments guys, much appreciated. Regards my camera, it's a 10Mpx Canon Ixus 900 Ti compact digital. You can check out the following Amazon link for all its glorious technical details:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Canon-Digital-Camera-10-0MP-optical/dp/B000IMD246/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1207669940&sr=8-1

I've been using Ixus cameras since 2004 and I've had uniformly good results. If you're looking for particularly good value then I'd recommend the Ixus 65. I've seen second hand ones in vgc going for under £70 recently. It has a very nice lens, a large 3" display that is crisp and clear, and image stabilisation - very handy when shooting indoors without a tripod on long exposure times.

I'd also recommend that you track down a useful bit of freeware called ColorWizard. Just google the name and you'll find a download site. It has a great auto-colour balancing feature that's simple to use. I run all of my pics through ColorWizard to ensure optimum contrast, colour and lighting levels.

Whoa! Toatally brilliant Joe, many thanks for posting them up, must have taken a while to do. They do show the size and extent of the game, and I do like the 'action shots' of the gamers. Some look very athletic! Excellent stuff.

Just one question re the camera though...is it programmed to made Gamers waistlines look bigger than they actually are?

No? Hmm, hey ho.... Laughing

Really good, many thanks.
