Well its more a fictional version based on Sword with a second table with an airborne brigade.

The idea is we will have the landing on the beach facing the German defenders and then the airborne brigade holding off the German reinforcements.

After that we are planning a Desert War battle for later in the year and then a couple of modern encounters. If I can get my Russian infantry finished we may have a crack at a Barbarossa game.

Also got to get on with my 28mm ACW... Still got 200 infantry waiting to be finished...

Out of interest, any thoughts about the Desert War battle, like period? You thinking early like O'Connor verses the Italians or Auckinleck, or Monty?
We've got just a few peeps interested in that stuff on here Smile

I notice the 600-odd views you've had here in one day 31` that's some going!

Our Western Desert Project is set late 41 early 42... We were gonna stick with a late 41 setting but Cyril wanted to do a Free French force for Bir Hachim so we played around with it a little.

I will post some pics of the WIPs that we have done so far... Though mine isnt very exciting... Just infantry and bleeding trucks... I got lumbered with an infantry brigade... I got more 15 cwts than Monty.

If you're playing around with it, you might as well get rid of Ritchie. The General, that is, not the WS member Smile
Gazala would a good battle: lot's of lovely Panzer IIIs and Honey's Crusaders and things, before they bought in all those boring Shermans.

Which rules? Look forward to the WIPs! If you've done an OOB it'd be good to know.
Cheers
